"No More Guns for Domestic Violence Offenders"
SOURCE: http://bit.ly/18sShzV -
"A federal lifetime ban on gun ownership for domestic violence misdemeanants does not violate the Second Amendment, the 9th Circuit ruled Monday."
Full Ninth Circuit Court Decision: http://1.usa.gov/17OceTe
NOTE: This is NOT a state law but a FEDERAL law from 1996 that was challenged and upheld this past Monday, November 18, 2013. The specific law is: http://codes.lp.findlaw.com/uscode/18/I/44/922. This effectively ends the matter, as the 9th Circuit Court’s opinion is solid and is highly unlikely to be taken by SCOTUS for further review.
A woman is 500% more likely to be killed in a domestic violence situation when a gun is present. Very glad this law was upheld.
i love tommy wiseau because nobody but tommy wiseau knows exactly who he is
nobody knows where exactly he was born, or anything about his past. “tommy wiseau” isnt even his real name
fuck nobody even knows how old he really is
he’s also a multi billionaire and no one has any idea where he acquired that fortune
his whole life literally makes no sense
I feel so good knowing I’m not odd for knowing /a lot/ about phantom either, thank you to Auntie-Jillies Stunt! Husband! Now I won’t feel so unsettled when someone tells me I’ve been singing the near entirety of act 2
Lot 666, then: a chandelier in pieces. Some of you may recall the strange affair of the Phantom of the Opera: a mystery never fully explained. We are told ladies and gentlemen, that this is the very chandelier which figures in the famous disaster. Our workshops have restored it and fitted up parts of it with wiring for the new electric light, so that we may get a hint of what it may look like when re-assembled. Perhaps we may frighten away the ghost of so many years ago with a little illumination. Gentlemen?
OH THE BOMBAST. It’s been…2 decades? And I can still quote every line of dialog, and sing every note (of every part; I simply transpose the alto and soprano parts into octaves I can reach).
(Did I just out myself as a musical theater fag? No - that was YEARS ago, with “Sweeney Todd” and “1776”.)
DAMN YOU, STUNTHUSBAND. I’ve been compelled to start watching the movie. OH THE BOMBAST, INDEED.
